Unison of Sky

2016

 

Is a performance and collaboration with Iranian artist Samira Davarfara, that took place between Iran and United States, CCA and the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art. We made a ceiling portal between the two cities via Skype. Participants lied down on their backs and gazed on a projection of people on the other side of the world. They were able to give their written wish to the artist, who then translated it - between Farsi and English - and spoke through the portal.

 

A performance art between Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art and California Collage of the Arts. 

As a part of 30 Performances, 30 Artists, 30 Days, Performance festival in Iran.
