Unison of Sky

A performance art between the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art and the California College of the Arts. 

As a part of 30 Performances, 30 Artists, 30 Days, Performance festival in Iran. 2016

A performance and collaboration with Iranian artist Samira Davarfara occurred between Iran and the United States, CCA, and the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art. We made a ceiling portal between the two cities via Skype. Participants lay down on their backs and gazed at a projection of people on the other side of the world. They were able to give their written wish to the artist, who then translated it - between Farsi and English - and spoke through the portal.
